Does your iPhone X not work in the cold? Then grab this update now

Ever since it hit the shelves, many iPhone X users have complained about facing some issue or the other.

Apple has released iOS 11.1.2 which fixes an issue that caused the iPhone X display to become unresponsive after a rapid temperature drop. Head to Settings General Software Update and follow the instructions.

Apple finally released its iOS 11.1.2, the seventh official update of iOS 11 operating system on Thursday, November 16. We've already told you about one of them, so let's see what the second one does. The changelog for the update mentions only these two points.

Spotify already worked on iPhone X, but the music streaming app fit between letterboxes at the top and bottom as non-updated apps require updated interfaces.

iOS 11.1.2 is now available for download. The new version, 8.4.28, extends the user interface to both ends of the iPhone X. Apple acknowledged the issue that time and promised to address it with a software update soon.

This includes some of Microsoft's popular apps like Outlook, Skype, and Xbox, but other apps like Spotify and Feedly are yet to be updated to support the new iPhone X as well. Apple is now testing that feature in the iOS 11.2 beta, which also improves wireless charging speeds.
