Kim Vows to 'Tame the Mentally Deranged US Dotard with Fire'

Russia could be America's greatest ally against North Korea

President Donald Trump is again assailing North Korea Kim Jong Un, saying that he "will be tested like never before".

Russian Federation urged calm on Friday after US President Donald Trump called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un a "madman".

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho later elaborated on what Kim meant while speaking to reporters at the UN General Assembly in NY. Trump also mocked North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the speech, dubbing him "Rocket Man".

Speaking in New York City on Friday, Ri Yong Ho, the North's foreign minister, said his country could consider a hydrogen bomb test of an unprecedented scale on the Pacific Ocean, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.

"Action is the best option in treating the dotard who, hard of hearing, is uttering only what he wanted to say", Kim said in a statement on Thursday, according to a translation.

Responding to Donald Trump's bellicose warning to North Korea about the programme, Kim on Friday called the US president a "dotard" - at least in a translation by the state news agency KCNA.

Kim Jung Un called the president "a frightened dog - mentally deranged - and a dotard", a senile old person.

It was the USA president's most direct reference to military action so far against the North, which conducted its sixth and largest nuclear test on September 3.

In Trump's speech Tuesday, he denounced North Korea, vowing to "totally destroy" the country if the USA was provoked.

China announced Saturday that it will limit exports of petroleum products to North Korea starting in October to implement the latest United Nations sanctions over Pyongyang's sixth nuclear test.

President Donald Trump has added economic sanctions to his fiery military threats against North Korea, and renewed his rhetorical offensive against Kim Jong Un on Friday, calling the reclusive leader "obviously a madman". He didn't elaborate any further on what this could be, but the next step from the nuclear arms and missiles he's been testing thus far is a #Hydrogen Bomb.

Trump and Kim have been trading barbs.

Propaganda videos and posters from North Korea depict the U.S. as its mortal enemy. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime.

Washington followed on Thursday by announcing tougher sanctions on North Korea.

China accounts for about 90 percent of North Korea's foreign trade.
