Resumed Europe tour of Ariana Grande leads to tight security in Paris

Ariana Grande resumes her world tour in Paris after the tragic Manchester attack

She officially suspended the tour following the attack on her show in Manchester, England, which left 22 dead and 59 others injured.

The AccorHotels Arena concert in Paris went off without a hitch and Ariana posted a photo from the show to Instagram, thanking the city and saying she is "grateful to be back".

The singer has since released the cover version to raise more funds for the those affected by the terror attack.

"Thinking of our angels every step of the way".

"There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better".

Ariana has been praised for her handling of the last two weeks, particularly after returning to the United Kingdom on Sunday for the One Love Manchester concert.




"Merci, Paris. Je t'aime", the Dangerous Woman singer wrote on her Twitter account following the concert. "Grateful to be back". Prior to the concert, Paris police stated security would be heightened given the "powerful symbolic context" of the show.

Security was extra tight at the venue with concert-goers given thorough pat-downs, bag searches and checked by sniffer dogs while roads nearby were blocked.

Singer Ariana Grande shared a message to her fans as she prepared to resume her world tour in Paris, France. Backpacks were also reportedly banned from the venue.

Ariana Grande has lifted the suspension of the remainder of her European dates for her Dangerous Woman tour.
